Gorgeous Summer Country Wedding - Micha & Tina

June 10th, 2017 was a very special day for bride Tina and groom Micha. I got the inquiry from Tina almost a year ago about their wedding date. I was beyond thrilled to be able to photograph their wedding as Tina and I grew up going to Camp Galilee together. With our shared history, I was honoured to capture their special day. But to be honest, it wasn't that hard! Not only was their wedding in the middle of the beautiful countryside, but it was absolutely beautiful! There ceremony was inside a barn where the guests sat on hay bale bleachers {I mean how creative is that?!}. Every little detail was thought out and carefully decorated. If you are wanting a country wedding, look at these images. You'll get tons of great inspiration!

Typically I am an Ottawa based wedding photographer, but I do love to travel to different places in Canada. This one took me to St-Bernardin, Ontario.; a place I had never heard about before. It's an hour away from Ottawa. As I was driving there with my second shooter I was convinced the GPS wasn't taking me the right way, I definitely thought I was going to get lost! But oh my word when I got off the highway I was greeted with all of the open fields and the big blue sky! It was absolutely stunning!! I have always had a soft spot for country weddings. There is something about the wonderful green grass and blue skies that just make the wedding photographer part of me giddy.

Micha & Tina were married on a sunny summer day. Bridal prep was held at Tina's parents house which was incredibly cute and perfect for pictures! Groom prep was at the bride's brothers farm house, and was great for those silly groom shots. Everything fit the personality of the bride and groom.

Tan, sky blue & peach were the perfect colours to compliment their day. The girls look stunning in sky blue dresses and the guys rocked their tan suits. Tina was absolutely STUNNING in lace overlayed dress from Ami-Fer. My favourite part was the back of the dress where there was a cut out and beaded designing. Man it was incredible!

This couple was an absolute dream to photograph! For the bridal party and bride + groom portraits we went to The Glengarry Pioneer Museum in Dunvegan where there was a huge field and super cute buildings that were a great backdrop. I am in love with the distressed wood in their couple portraits. It all went with the theme of the day, and it was incredible. They were super comfortable in front of the camera, and are naturally stunning! I really love the way their portraits turned out, it's so obvious how much these two love each other. I hope these images get framed on the walls of their new house!

This is definitely a wedding to check out. Micha & Tina, CONGRATULATIONS again! Thank you for having me on your special wedding day!
